Retirement
Calculate how long retirement savings last under a withdrawal plan, with taxes, account types, RMDs, and Social Security modeled explicitly.
A withdrawal plan depends on more than a percentage rule. Account types, ordinary brackets, capital gains, RMD timing, and Social Security all change what a withdrawal actually costs.
ArthaPilot models withdrawals year by year: the Retirement Planner projects the full plan, and the Decumulation Studio sequences withdrawals and Roth conversions against tax constraints.
Use the Retirement Planner when the question is whether the plan holds up: spending level, horizon, and allocation. Use the Decumulation Studio when the question is sequencing: which account to draw first and whether Roth conversions improve the modeled outcome.
The Retirement Planner page is open to explore. Decumulation Studio runs are part of the Pro plan; the configuration form and a worked example are visible without one.
Is this a 4% rule calculator?
It can model a fixed-real withdrawal rule like the 4% rule, but the point is to test the rule against taxes, account types, and RMDs rather than apply a flat percentage to one balance.
Does it tell me the safe withdrawal amount?
No. It shows modeled outcomes under stated assumptions so you can compare plans. It does not produce advice or a guaranteed safe number.
